ALTO ORGANIC is a strikingly packaged a prestige Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a rich robust blend crafted from estate grown Tuscan origin varieties including Frantoio, Corregiola and Leccino, from ALTO’s certified organic, high altitude, cool climate Liberty Grove. Located in the western foothills of Australia’s Great Dividing Range, this remote location has proved ideally suited to oleaculture and the vision of proprietor Robert Armstrong, who established the grove in 1999.
‘Consumer demand for premium quality Australian extra virgin olive oil is showing pleasingly strong growth. But it is the unfulfilled demand for local Australian organic olive oil that initiated this latest addition to the ALTO range,’ commented ALTO proprietor Robert Armstrong.
‘We identified a market niche opportunity and intend to supply our certified organic olive oil to major food retailers, and to selected organic and wholefood stores.’
The award-winning ALTO ORGANIC is characterised by a herbal pungency, lingering spiciness and balance, and is supplied in 500ml dark green bottles.
Already this new season oil has collected the prestigious 2012 Armonia International Packaging Trophy Award, and was the top-pointed Trophy-winning oil in the Armonia Organic Category. This benchmark oil has also collected two Silver Medals – at the prestigious Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition 2012 and at the 2012 Royal Canberra Extra Virgin Olive Oil Show.
