Spring heralds the Australian olive industry awards season that celebrates the best of the new harvest 2014 Extra Virgin releases. And it’s already a good year for ALTO Olives…
ALTO Vividus has been chosen Champion Varietal Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the 2014 Sydney Royal Spring Fine Food Show. Made from the Australian colonial variety Hardy’s Mammoth, this flagship oil continues to impress Australia’s olive oil judges. Last year it was awarded Champion Single Estate Grown Oil at the 2013 Royal Melbourne Fine Food Show, and it was a previous Royal Sydney Champion in 2009.
ALTO Lemon starred at the 2014 Australian National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, winning Best of Class for Citrus EVOO and a Gold Medal. While ALTO La Prima Table Olives received another Best of Class in the Green Olives category.
